On Saturday, September 26th, Always Something Thrift Store will be holding a raffle. The lucky winner will win a live-edge, maple burl bowl (pictured left). This bowl was handmade by local artisan, Don Lennon. Check out his amazing work: www.burlwoodturnings.com. The proceeds from the raffle will go to purchase food for our four-legged friends of our Everett homeless. In addition to the raffle, there will be a 30% off sale at the thrift store. Come by, support a good cause, and check out some great deals! Always Something Thrift Store is located at 716 Everett Mall Way in Everett, WA. Hours are from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. |

Last year (around September of 2014) the Washington Rental Owners Association went through some changes - and all for the good! In addition to a new office and increased memberships, WROA has merged with other Chapters in Washington State. Since there have been so many new developments, we felt that we should give our brand identity a little makeover. I've been with WROA for a year now and during that time I've been updating their brand identity with a new logo, and marketing materials. Back in July 2015, I was given the responsibility of redesigning and publishing the company's newsletter. Opting for vivid blue colors, bold typography, and a clean design layout, I produced an informative as well as an aesthetically-pleasing newsletter.
